Description
Provo City is looking for a full-time Utility Electrical Engineer to provide professional engineering work responsible to coordinate, plan, design, estimate, and prepare specifications for building electrical distribution/transmission systems in Provo City’s Energy department. Civic-minded individuals interested in supporting these services provided to the residents of Provo City are strongly encouraged to apply.
Requirements
At All Levels - Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related field.
A valid, lawful Driver License is required.
Level I - Must obtain Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) certificate within 1 year of hire.
Level II - Three years of experience at Systems Electrical Engineer I level.
Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) certificate.
Senior - Four years of experience at Systems Electrical Engineer II level.
State Professional Engineer license is required (State of Utah within one year).
